Can I access my organization's PubMed holdings from Essential Evidence Plus on the Web?
If you access Essential Evidence Plus on the Web via your organization's institutional Essential Evidence Plus account, and the Essential Evidence Plus administrative person at your organization has provided us with their PubMed link out code (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/hournals/active_libraries.html) for us to program into our system, then you will have access to your organization's PubMed holdings from Essential Evidence Plus on the Web. When your search yields a Daily POEM, a decision support calculator, diagnostic test calculator, or H&P calculator, you can click on the PubMed icon and view the abstract or even the full text (if your library has access to such resources) of the resource. If you believe that your organization has access to such resources, but you cannot access them via Essential Evidence Plus on the Web, contact us at support@essentialevidenceplus.com stating your organizational affiliation, and we will work with your organization to provide PubMed access via Essential Evidence Plus.
If you are an individual subscriber, you cannot currently access your organization's PubMed holding via Essential Evidence Plus on the Web. This option will be available to you with a future release.
How do I access the 5 Minute Clinical Consult content?
With the December 2007 release of Essential Evidence Plus, 5 Minute Clinical Consult content was removed from Essential Evidence Plus.
I receive a "Security Certificate Error" when I attempt to access Essential Evidence Plus online search
The security certificate for the Essential Evidence Plus website is signed by a relatively new Certificate Authority, which some browsers do not yet recognize. You should choose to Accept and Trust the certificate. To verify the Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority, please visit http://www.verisign.com.
