I purchased an individual subscription or signed up for trial access, but I'm not receiving any Daily POEMs Alert e-mails.
If you have just placed your subscription order or trial access request, please be aware that it may take up to 48 hours for us to process your request. You will not begin to receive Daily POEMs Alert e-mails until the request has been processed.
It is also possible that a sales representative has placed your request on hold in order to clarify the information that you submitted. You will have received an e-mail from the sales representative concerning the information request. Please respond to this e-mail so that your request can be processed.
If you believe that your request has been processed, and you have not been contacted with a request for additional information, one of the following may be the reason you are not receiving your Daily POEMs Alert e-mails:
- Your account is configured to disable delivery of Daily POEMs Alerts. To determine your Daily POEMs Alert settings, log into the My Account area of the Essential Evidence Plus website with the username and password that you were provided (if you have not received this information, then one of the situations described below likely applies to you). Once logged in, look for Daily POEMs Alert Options. If your Delivery Method is not set to Daily, click the Edit Daily POEMs Alert Options link to change your preference.
- Your e-mail address is not correct in our system. If this is the case, then you may not have ever received your Essential Evidence Plus access information, since we couldn't deliver it to you! Please contact us by phone or e-mail. If you know that you can access the Essential Evidence Plus site, verify your e-mail address by logging into the My Account area of the Essential Evidence Plus website. Once logged in, look for Contact Information and verify your e-mail address. If it needs to be corrected, click the Edit Contact Information link.
- You may have a junk mail (spam) filter that is blocking the Daily POEMs Alert messages. If you
have activated a funk mail Control feature of your e-mail client, or if you have installed another
form of junk mail control, then you should make sure that the program isn't interpreting Daily POEMs Alert
e-mails as junk mail and blocking or deleting them.
It is also possible that your organization (or the provider of your e-mail service) has instituted a junk mail control system that is blocking the Daily POEMs Alert e-mails. Please contact your e-mail provider or your organization's IT department and ask if such a system is in place.

If you believe that you should be receiving Daily POEMs Alerts through your organization's Essential Evidence Plus subscription, but you are not receiving the e-mails, then one of the following may be the problem:
- Your account is configured to disable delivery of Daily POEMs Alerts. To determine your Daily POEMs Alert settings, please visit the Daily POEMs Alert E-mail Options page.
- Your e-mail address is not correct in our system. If this is the case, then you should contact the person who is in charge of your organization's Essential Evidence Plus subscription to verify that your e-mail address is properly subscribed. If you have trouble contacting the appropriate person, you may also contact Essential Evidence Plus by phone or e-mail.
- You may have a junk mail (spam) filter that is blocking the Daily POEMs Alert messages. If you

You are receiving the Daily POEMs Alerts in HTML format, and your e-mail program apparently doesn't understand HTML. You should change the format of your e-mails to plain text. See the How do I change the format of my Daily POEMs Alerts FAQ.
How do I change the format of my Daily POEMs Alerts from HTML to Plain Text or vice versa?
You can change the format of your Daily POEMs Alerts, manage other aspects of your Daily POEMs Alert deliveries, and unsubscribe from the Daily POEMs Alert list from the Daily POEMs Alert E-mail Options page.
If you are an individual subscriber to Essential Evidence Plus, you will be directed to the My Account section of Essential Evidence Plus, where you can manage all aspects of your account, including your Daily POEMs Alert e-mail Options.
If you are subscribed to the Daily POEMs Alert e-mail list as a part of your Organization's subscription to Essential Evidence Plus, you should enter the e-mail address that receives Daily POEMs Alert, and click Change E-mail Options. An e-mail will be sent to your address with instructions on how to change your options. This extra step is necessary to prevent someone else from changing your Daily POEMs Alert options without your permission.
My organization has an Essential Evidence Plus subscription. How do I subscribe to the Daily POEMs Alert e-mail list?
You must contact the person who is responsible for managing the Essential Evidence Plus subscription at your organization. This is often a medical librarian or the head of your department. He or she can arrange for your e-mail address to be added to the Daily POEMs Alert distribution list. There may also be information regarding Essential Evidence Plus on your libary, medical center, or department's Web site.
I would like to change the e-mail address where my Daily POEMs Alerts are sent.
Individual users: Login to your on-line account. Look for Edit Contact Information.
Institutional users: You must contact the person who is responsible for managing the Essential Evidence Plus subscription at your organization. This is often a medical librarian or the head of your department. He or she can arrange for your e-mail address to be changed.
