How often is Essential Evidence Plus updated?

Updates to the Essential Evidence Plus program are released at least 3 times a year. These updates contain updated content as well as program enhancements.

Is the Essential Evidence Plus Updateravailable for MacOS, Linux, etc?

If you wish to use Essential Evidence Plus on your desktop computer, you must be running the Microsoft Windows operating system. There are no current plans to develop the Essential Evidence Plus Updater for MacOS, Linux, or other operating systems. However, you can use the web version to access the latest content on any operating system, as long as you have Internet access.

Does Essential Evidence Plus integrate with any other medical products?

The handheld versions of Essential Evidence Plus (available for the Palm OS and Pocket PC) are seamlessly integrated with Lexi-Comp's clinical reference databases. For example, if you are searching Essential Evidence Plus and a drug name appears in an article, just tap on the drug and Lexi-Comp's drug monograph will appear. When you have finished reading about the drug, exit Lexi-Comp and the screen will go back to the article you were reading.
